The situation
The client is a Dubai-based company operating in the digital asset and cryptocurrency sector. It required reliable, remote accounting support to manage its financial operations, ensure regulatory compliance and streamline monthly and annual reporting. Synergi was engaged to provide a full business process outsourcing solution for its finance and accounting functions over a twelve-month period, delivered entirely remotely.
Scope of work
- Monthly bookkeeping: recording all transactions, journal entries and reconciliations, and maintaining the general ledger
- Preparation of monthly profit and loss, balance sheet and cash flow reports
- Quarterly VAT return preparation, filing and reconciliation with accounting records
- Corporate tax support: registration, annual filing and documentation in line with UAE regulations
- Audit readiness: final trial balance, audit schedules and coordination with external auditors
