The situation
The client is an Abu Dhabi government entity established in 2023 to plan, manage and deliver the emirate's government capital projects across housing, infrastructure, tourism, community facilities and education. Synergi was engaged to deploy and run a dedicated on-site HR team under a managed-service model.
Scope of work
- Deploy a dedicated on-site HR team to run the centre's day-to-day HR operations under a managed-service model
- Employee relations management, grievance and disciplinary support, and HR advisory
- HR policy guidance and day-to-day employee queries through a helpdesk
- Onboarding and offboarding administration
- Performance management cycle administration: goal-setting, reviews and calibration support
- Learning and development, training needs coordination, programme scheduling and L&D record-keeping
- Employee data management and HR reporting and analytics from the HCM system
What was delivered
- Three full-time on-site resources: an Employee Relations Manager, a Performance and L&D Specialist, and an Oracle HCM Specialist
- Day-to-day HR operations delivered on site under the centre's own governance
- Employee relations, performance and L&D administration
- Oracle HCM system support and employee data management
- Remote payroll run
